Good to know
- Since January 1, 2024, the availability of the municipal savings day pass can now be viewed at www.spartageskarte-gemeinde.ch Reservations and sales of the new Municipal Savings Day Pass can only be made at the Visp municipal ticket office
- The savings day passes are issued personally for the person traveling and are not transferable to third parties
- The personal savings day passes are checked on the day of travel by control staff using an identification document
- The person traveling must be resident in Visp, Eyholz or Baltschieder
Municipal savings day pass from January 1, 2024
The municipal savings day pass is a new, contingent offer. It replaces the previous municipal day pass. The Municipal Supersaver Day Pass is available for 1st and 2nd class, with or without a Half-Fare travelcard, in two different price levels.

All municipalities now have access to the same nationwide contingent via a central application. If this is exhausted, it will not be possible to purchase a communal Saver Day Pass for the selected day of travel anywhere in Switzerland.
On spartageskarte-gemeinde.ch, the respective availability of the Saver Day Pass per travel day is displayed, but reservations are not possible. Tickets are sold exclusively at the Visp municipal ticket office, where they are also collected. No written or telephone reservations will be accepted. The Municipal Savings Day Pass is sold exclusively to residents of Visp, Eyholz and Baltschieder.

Anyone interested in purchasing the pass can find out about availability on the desired day from December 11, 2023 at www.spartageskarte-gemeinde.ch.
The municipal savings day pass is reserved and sold exclusively at the Visp municipal counter.

Prevention
After the sale, the municipal savings day pass can be refunded within 7 days (but no later than 1 day before the trip) without giving reasons.
After the 7-day period, a refund is only possible in exceptional cases. In the following cases, a Municipal Supersaver Day Pass can be refunded for a fee of CHF 10:
- Identical Municipal Savings Day Pass purchased more than once
- Municipal savings day pass purchased for the wrong customer group
- Refund for subsequent purchase of a personal GA travelcard
- Inability to travel (illness / accident)
- Death of the person traveling
Miscellaneous
No SBB Half-Fare travelcard is required for the Municipal Day Pass.
The municipality of Visp reserves the right to change the conditions of sale at short notice. By making a reservation, the user accepts these conditions.
