Timely and correct provision of fee bags

Recently, the municipality has been noticing an increasing number of cases in which bags that have been prepared for disposal the day before are torn open by animals overnight, leaving the leaking waste lying around in the surrounding area.

The leaking waste then has to be collected and disposed of unnecessarily and at great expense.

In order to avoid this, we would ask the public once again to make sure that, where possible, their bags are not put out for disposal until the day of collection and are correctly tied up.

We would also like to remind you that the early provision of refuse sacks (especially over the weekend) is punishable by a fine of CHF 100.00 in accordance with the refuse regulations of the municipality of Visp.
