Shooting Sports Center Riedertal
Sport Shooters Visp-Eyholz!
The Riedertal shooting sports center is located in a sparsely populated area directly on the Visp - Raron cantonal road, embedded to the south by the wooded mountain slope, and to the west and north by the filled dams of Alp-Transit.
Due to the ideal terrain topography, the target lines for the various distances could be laid out horizontally throughout. With the construction of this shooting sports center, the municipality has planned very farsightedly. For decades, the sport shooters, be it the 300m shooters, the small bore shooters, the pistol shooters, the guild shooters or the air rifle shooters, will find here their ideal training and competition facility.
The hunters were not forgotten either. A 150m facility with 4 targets, rolling hares and a running hare was installed. Provision was made for the installation of a boar range. The terrain was designed in such a way that a clay pigeon facility could also be realized.
Thus, the municipality of Visp becomes the proud owner of the most modern shooting sports center in our country.
