The ice sports and event arena was opened and inaugurated on September 6, 2019. The arena was built to the Minergie standard for ice halls and has a very innovative ice technology system. The system is 100% ammonia-free with CO2, uses waste heat and thus has an excellent energy efficiency. This has a positive effect on operating and maintenance costs.
