Correct behavior in case of fire
Notes and recommendations for safety and fire prevention:
Do not leave candles, table grills, hotplates, etc. unattended!
- Candles and candle arrangements must be placed on suitable non-flammable surfaces so that they cannot fall over and at such a distance from flammable materials that the flames cannot ignite anything!
- Make sure that all hotplates are switched off after cooking!
- Do not use the stove for purposes other than those for which it was intended, e.g. to place other utensils on!
- Provide a child safety lock if possible!
- Keep lighters, matches and fireworks out of the reach of children!
- Avoid using all sockets in multiple socket strips!
- Always unroll the cable reel completely when in use!
- Disconnect mobile electrical appliances from the power supply after use! Do not connect damaged cables or defective devices to the mains!
- Observe the safety distances from flammable objects to fireplaces, stoves, etc.!
- Only pour hot ash and smoking waste into non-combustible, closed containers on a non-combustible base!
- Keep the stairwell free of flammable material and thus make the escape route quickly and safely accessible! Always keep doors to the stairwell closed and do not wedge them open!
- No transport containers for liquid gas, e.g. for camping and barbecues, in the building! Set up outside the building in such a way that escaping gas cannot get into lower shafts and protect the containers from falling over, mechanical damage, unauthorized access and excessive heating.
- Only professional and standard-compliant charging stations for electric vehicles!
- It is strongly recommended that individual fire detectors are installed to provide an early warning to those present, enabling the fire department to be alerted quickly and the firefighters to fight the fire themselves.
If you have any questions, please contact a fire protection specialist or your fire station.
