Closure of the hiking trail along the "Visperi"

Recently, the municipality has noticed more and more that the prepaid garbage bags, which are already provided for disposal the day before, are torn open overnight by animals and that waste is lying around in the surrounding area as a result.

Pedestrian crossings for the disabled

As part of the Disability Discrimination Act (BehiG), the municipality of Visp has optimized and improved the crossings of pedestrian crossings to the sidewalks in several places in recent weeks. This will make it much easier for disabled and elderly pedestrians, some of whom are dependent on additional equipment (rollators etc.), to cross the pedestrian crossings in future.

Replacement of the defective granite slabs on the Kaufplatz / upper Bahnhofstrasse

Some of the granite slabs on Kaufplatz and in the upper Bahnhofstrasse are defective and therefore need to be replaced.

Replacing the avenue of trees in the "Parkji" with walnut trees

In recent times, strong gusts of wind have increasingly caused branches to break off the "ageing" avenue of trees along the footpath and the play areas in the "Parkji".

Loss of personal self-adhesive labels

The labels are issued free of charge by the municipality.
If they are lost, the declaration must be completed and signed.
The labels will then be sent by post or handed in at the counter.
